Tuxedo Days

Heels: Jimmy Choo // Blouse: RW&CO

Every now and then, I will see something and it will spark a new life goal of mine. This time, while watching the season finale of Vanderpump Rules and witnessing Ariana in a tuxedo as a groomsman, my new life goal was established. I NEED to become a groomsman one day. I have been a bridesmaid twice and attended my share of weddings in various dresses and one thing that is common between all of them is rethinking going for that slice of cake because you're just not sure who will wint he Red Velvet vs. Spanx battle. Imagine being up there looking like a BOSS in tuxedo and a bow tie AND never questioning your dessert adventure. Sounds like holy matrimony to me.

Why Not Culotte

Sweater: H&M // Pants: Zara // Shoes: Jimmy Choo

Fully taking advantage of any surprisingly warm day in October by wearing items that don't necessarily transition into the Fall easily. Some might say these daisy printed culottes should have stayed in July, I say shutty.

Joggers

Pants: Banana Republic // Blazer: Forever 21 // Choker: Splurge Boutique // Lipstick: Mac Russian Red // Heels: Jimmy Choo //Sunglasses: RayBan

"Track pants? On a Monday?" is how I was greeted this morning as I walked into the office. Trying to bring trends into my work wardrobe is sometimes more challenging than balancing multiple projects. I'm just a girl who doesn't want to wear black pants and blouses every day. Pairing "jogger pants", which have been sported here (pun intended), with a blazer and heels is one way to be comfortable and trendy from 9-5.

If only business process mapping was a track and field sport..

Ahoy Matey

Dress - RW&CO
Heels - Jimmy Choo - shop here

I feel quite nautical in this outfit, but let's skip the foreplay and discuss what's really important here - the Jimmys. These shoes caused more of a debate in my mind than Donald Trump. The great debate of heel height, 100m or 120mm?

There is something about a higher heel that just makes me feel better, you feel taller, somehow skinnier and maybe even a tad more powerful. But when do you put that aside for a touch of comfort and practicality? And yes, I am calling the 4 inch option "practical". Well friends, for quite possibly the first time ever, I went with the lower heel. The verdict? Extreme comfort!

Patterns Gone South

My closet has accumulated its share of pattern pants and I'm excited to take the pattern party even more south next season. What's more fun than adding excitement to an otherwise basic outfit with some cool shoes?!

Here are some heels that have caught my eye that I may have to add (the wallet-friendly options) to my growing collection!

How do you feel about patterned shoes?

1 Skirt: 2 Looks

1 Skirt: 2 Looks

The skirt - Carven flared mini skirt

Clothes are as multipurpose as a Swiss army knife and if you are going to spend a cool $420 on a skirt, such as this Carven number, then you're going to want to wear it multiple times for multiple occasions!
