Every girl has that too short, too tight dress hanging in their closet that was purchased in a "I'm gonna rule the world" whim. Then you realize you're 27 and if you can't wear it to work then it probably also won't go with your sweats which means it'll never get worn. That's when you know it's time to get creative and just throw on a skirt over that dress and call it a day! 

What's even better? It's also a built in slip for that slightly sheer skirt. Wam bam thank you ma'am.

Sometimes you just need a little reminder that everything will be ok. And athough wrinkles worry me, I can't help but smile when I look down and see this bracelet. So while other people may opt for the "breathe" wrist tattoo, I'm more than happy with my Gladia bracelet :)

There are a lot of things that I am into in this outfit. I love pairing heather grey with light pink. It makes me feel like a bunny and I'm all for it. The Ariana Grande inspired hair is definitely supporting the bunny vibe. 

The colour palette combined with the high waisted skirt and top is also giving me a Kardashian vibe. Not the version of Kim Kardashian who wears weird unflattering items because they're "fashion forward" but the immediate post-Kanye Kim who was all minimalist and cool. You know the one.

And lastly, I have been obsessed with chokers lately and this one is only $6! How can you say no?!

I feel quite nautical in this outfit, but let's skip the foreplay and discuss what's really important here - the Jimmys. These shoes caused more of a debate in my mind than Donald Trump. The great debate of heel height, 100m or 120mm? 

There is something about a higher heel that just makes me feel better, you feel taller, somehow skinnier and maybe even a tad more powerful. But when do you put that aside for a touch of comfort and practicality? And yes, I am calling the 4 inch option "practical". Well friends, for quite possibly the first time ever, I went with the lower heel. The verdict? Extreme comfort!

Sometimes things just work out. Take this outfit for instance. I do this thing where I shop and shop, and then just leave my purchases in their bags and forget about them. Some may call it a problem, I call it..safe storage? Every now and then, I remember and unveil purchases from the past..this time, the three items just happened to work together oh so perfectly. I think I now understand the connection that is sought after by all contestants on "The Bachelor".
