Baby Blues

Blouse: RW&CO // Pants: Zara // Heels: Jessica Simpson //Handbag: Milly // Bracelet: Hermes

I am very behind on blog posts as work has been a little crazy and let's face it, I've been a little lazy. A lot of things have happened since these pictures were taken:

1. My brassy ponytail has been toned.
2. It is no longer summer.
3. I have gone to all 4 Atlantic provinces.
3. And enough time has passed where my pony tail needs to get re-toned.

Ok maybe not too many things happened in that period after all.

Havana Nana

Kimono: Zara // Jeans: Joe's Jeans // Heels: Oscar De La Renta // Hoops: Splurge Boutique

Something about this pattern and the hoops got me feelin' straight from Havana.

Back At It Again

Dress: Dynamite // Sunglasses: Rayban // Shoes: Valentino

Six months after my surgery, I am slowly re-training myself to wear heels. I can't exactly get my foot into all my heels anymore but if I'm going to be limited to wider straps and lower (for me) heels then they might as well be Valentino.

Basic Math

Jeans: Forever 21 // Tee: Zara // Jacket: Forever 21 // Sunglasses: Rayban

I have worn a variation of this outfit 3 weekends in a row. It follows my formula of somehow adding a couple of basic items yet avoid looking basic!

1. Skinny jean
2. Tee
3. Bootie (+ a booty won't hurt)
4. Leather jacket

God, I love math.

Eye See You

Pants: Forever 21 // Tank: Dynamite // Sunglasses: Rayban

Looking back at a day where my hair was lighter, my pants were breezier and the wind was balmier. Fall, eye see you coming. Oh eye see you.

Pink Stigma

Pants: Mango // Blouse: Club Monaco // Shoes: Christian Louboutin //Sunnies: Rayban

White blouses. Black power suits. Grey trousers. Three "must have" items in a career woman's closet and repeated wardrobe. Is colour unprofessional? Can wearing feminine colours in the office be a career killer?

I refuse to believe that women have to dress masculine to be able to climb the corporate ladder. If Elle Woods taught me anything, it's that pink and corporate success are not mutually exclusive.

No better way to ease back from a long weekend than a casual Monday. Overall, it's wasn't too shabby.

Joggers

Pants: Banana Republic // Blazer: Forever 21 // Choker: Splurge Boutique // Lipstick: Mac Russian Red // Heels: Jimmy Choo //Sunglasses: RayBan

"Track pants? On a Monday?" is how I was greeted this morning as I walked into the office. Trying to bring trends into my work wardrobe is sometimes more challenging than balancing multiple projects. I'm just a girl who doesn't want to wear black pants and blouses every day. Pairing "jogger pants", which have been sported here (pun intended), with a blazer and heels is one way to be comfortable and trendy from 9-5.

If only business process mapping was a track and field sport..
